Where is BAMBAM located? How long does it take to get there?

Our boats are located at Anse Marcel, the nicest marina on the French side of the island. Visit our Contact page to see the map of Anse Marcel.

You can easily get to Anse Marcel from anywhere on the island:

• 15 minutes from Grand Case or Orient Bay

• 20 minutes from Marigot or Oyster Pond

• 25 minutes from Cole Bay or Philipsburg

• 30 minutes from Simpson Bay

• 35 minutes from Terres Basses

Is boating license required to rent a BAMBAM boat?

If you plan to rent the boat without a professional skipper, it is mandatory that at least one member of your group holds a valid boating license. This license must be appropriate for the engine power of the boat being rented—either 90HP or 200HP.

What are the opening/closing hours for BAMBAM boat rental?

Full day rental: rental starts at 9 am. and ends at 5 pm.
Half-day rental: rental starts at 1 pm. and ends at 5 pm.

This allows us to prepare your boat and make sure everything is ready for you to have a great day on the water. We may possibly change these times, if you contact us sufficiently in advance so that we can organize ourselves. If you would like to return later, please let us know in advance as well, and not on the same day.

Which BAMBAM boat should I choose?

Our range of boats offers two possibilities. In order to choose the best for your day, first determine the maximum number of passengers as well as the intended destinations.

PREMIUM : 8 people maximum
(ALLOWS you to reach Anguilla and Saint-Barths islands)

BASIC : 6 people maximum
(DOES NOT ALLOW you to reach Anguilla and Saint-Barths islands)

What does the price include? What additional expenses are expected?

The price includes local taxes, the Nature Reserve fee, and the onboard equipment.

Not included:

• Fuel costs: the boat will be refueled by us after the rental, and the corresponding amount will be deducted from your deposit.

• Clearance fees (customs, immigration, and port) if you wish to travel to Anguilla or Saint-Barthélemy (only possible with the PREMIUM boat).

I would like to rent with a skipper. What is the procedure?

You can arrange your boat trip with a professional skipper who operates independently.

If you wish to take advantage of this option, please make sure to contact us in advance via WhatsApp or email so we can confirm the skipper’s availability.

For the services of the independent professional skipper, the following additional fees apply (on top of the boat rental):

• €100 for a half-day

• €150 for a full day

  
  

Payment for the skipper is made directly to them at the time of boarding, either by credit card or in cash.

Please note: When renting with a professional skipper, no security deposit is required.
